Experiences and classes are available upon request. Both are held at Dayna’s home studio nestled in the piñon/juniper forest with beautiful mountain views and less than 15 minutes from downtown Santa Fe.
Experiences are a 3 hour session that is perfect for those that just want to spend a few hours exploring the world of weaving for the first time using a process that is simple and easy. Everyone walks out the door with a finished product, usually a small table runner, wall hanging or scarf. Experiences are $120 for 3 hours.
Dayna also teaches classes on free style weaving techniques, warping, or designing and sewing garments using your woven fabric. You can create your dream workshop with Dayna. You dictate what you spend your time learning.
Free Style Weaving: $30/hour for first 5 hours, $20/hour after
Warping or Garment Creation: $30/hr

Weave A Memory at Your Special Life Event: Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Retirements
Weave a memory at your next life event or celebration. Invite the guests at your event to join together and create a weaving for you that will be a lasting memory of your special day. Each guest takes just a few minutes to sit at the loom and weave their part in your weaving. You can preselect colors that will be available and the guests choose what they want to use in your woven creation. With my guidance, the piece will have balance and special design elements that will make it a lovely wall hanging, table runner or it can be framed in a floating frame to become a more elegant piece of art for your home.
If you like, we can take a photo of each guest as they weave and a book can be compiled of all the guests with a special comment from each of them. This book can serve as your guest book for your event.
Weddings, anniversaries, retirements, birthdays, showers or any gathering can be made that much more special with the guest participation in your Woven Memory piece.
Base price per event: $500 Includes all supplies needed for creating the weaving and a max of 4 hours at the event. Extra hours can be negotiated. A lesser fee can be arranged for smaller groups and time frames.
Photo Guest Book: 20 pages: $75 additional pages $3.00/each
